Membertou Heritage Park
Membertou Heritage Park consists of a five-acre site that offers a living history of the people of Membertou and the Mi’kmaq culture. The indoor exhibit contains preserved pieces and archives to teach you about our community. Take part in one of their cultural workshops or interactive tours!
Petroglyphs Gift Shop is located within the Membertou Heritage Park. They carry traditional and contemporary Mi’kmaq art and crafts as well as limited edition originals and prints made by Mi’kmaq artists. You will be sure to find a special souvenir to take home with you.

Mi’kmaq Cultural Experiences
Join us for a Mi’kmaq Medicine Walk. Throughout this tour, you will learn the medicinal practices used by our ancestors while walking through a beautifully wooded trail in Membertou. The experience then continues with a dreamcatcher workshop, the breaking of traditional (luskinikn) bread, and then shopping at Petroglyphs Gift Shop. This guided tour begins at our Membertou Welcome Centre.

Lanes at Membertou
Open since late 2018, Lanes at Membertou is home to 16 lanes of candlepin bowling, and with state of the art technology, we’ve modernized the traditional sport of bowling to offer you an immersive experience.

With 2 NHL regulation-sized ice surfaces operating year-round, an indoor walking track, meeting spaces, a canteen and a YMCA wellness centre, the Membertou Sport and Wellness Centre is your hub for wellness. Starting in the summer of 2019, skates and helmets will be available for you to rent!
The YMCA Membertou features cardio equipment, free weights, universal cable stations, weight machines, squat racks and a multi-purpose studio used for various group fitness classes!
